Position Overview
The role of the Student Life Coordinator encompasses many responsibilities that are administered out of the Sacred Heart Schools Student Life Department. This position demands a high level of attention to detail for every aspect of the essential job functions and other responsibilities. This role also provides necessary support to members of the Academic Team and to the Student Life events that occur during the course of the school year.

Essential Job Functions:


Supervising Student Life Programs
  • Provide program direction (Set up, Supplies, Logistics, and Supervision of students) for:
    • Student Council
    • Work Study Scheduling and Supervision for After School Program
    • After School Study Hall for Middle School
    • Middle School Socials
    • Yearbook Student Committee
    • Red and White Inductions
    • Spirit Weeks
    • Monthly Bagel Sales

Other Responsibilities:

  • Program Support:
    • Coordinating the logistics of Middle School overnight field trip programs
    • Coordinating the Network Exchange program for the Middle School
    • Working with the Head of Student Life as the Network Contact Person for Student related programs
    • Head of Student Life Support
    • Office Assistance
    • Copying
    • Proofreading
    • Purchasing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 3-5 years of Program Assistance experience
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent character
